Praying for Belgium: A nation torn apart by hate

E-Mail Forward

A nation torn apart by hate—that’s how many describe the country of Belgium.

Welcome to World Prayer Today. As we make our way through Bastogne, Antwerp, and so many other beautiful Belgian cities, we are reminded of the ugly divide between the Dutch-speaking Flemings in the North and the French-speaking Walloons in the South.

Today as we pray, let’s remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:26—“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” And let’s pray that Thru the Bible’s broadcasts in both Flemish and French bring reconciliation between God and each person in Belgium … and ultimately between countrymen as well.

Join us tomorrow in France as we visit a listener who requests prayer for her marriage.
